Emerging Trends in Neuroscience: Molecular and Cellular Approaches

IBRO's Associate School Program is delighted to present a neuroscience course for 35 senior graduate students and junior PhD students (MBBS, MSc and year-1 PhD students) of the Asia-Pacific region. The School will be held at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India, on Oct 19-23, 2013 and will focus on the theme ‘Emerging Trends in Neuroscience: Molecular and Cellular Approaches.’ The students will participate in interactive sessions on current topics of neuroscience. These interactive sessions will include lectures and group discussions related to the theme of the School. The participants will also get an opportunity to witness the demonstration of advanced research equipments and the planning of innovative research projects.
All the students selected for this School will be required to register and attend scientific sessions, present their work and participate in interactive sessions with distinguished speakers at the International Conference and 31st Annual Meeting of the Indian Academy of Neurosciences (IAN) from Oct 25-27, 2013. After completion of the School at Varanasi, the participants will travel to Allahabad, India on Oct 24 to attend this conference.
Who should apply?
Priority will be given to MBBS, MSc and year-1 PhD students i.e. senior graduates or Junior PhD students residing in the Asia-Pacific region. Students selected to attend the School will be provided travel and living expenses (housing and meals). Visas and other immigration arrangements are the responsibility of the student.
