IBRO/APRC Advanced School of Neuroscience
September 1 - 30, 2013
Monash University Sunway Campus, Malaysia
Organizers: Ishwar Parhar and Eswary Sivalingam
Aims and Scope of the School:
The purpose of the Advanced School is to provide a platform for PhD students and post-doctoral fellows in the Asia Pacific region to meet in an environment where they can acquire knowledge of both theoretical and technological advances in key areas of neuroscience research.
BRIMS has organised two IBRO-Asia Pacific Regional Associate Schools in 2007 and 2009 and also IBRO School of Neuroscience in 2010, 2011, and 2012. This year, IBRO has agreed to fund us again to organise the 1st IBRO Advanced School of Neuroscience. This provides a forum for young neuroscientists, especially those from developing countries, to be exposed to high quality neuroscience. Funding from IBRO will cover the travel and accommodation expenses of up to 10 students who will attend the 1 month course. A two day International Neuroscience symposium will be organized by BRIMS & NeuroMalaysia Society.
